No problem! The group went on ahead, but Rastaine was not here today either. He should be back next week and both of you can catch up. We've done our best to make getting to us as easy as possible.

If possible Frayne might be able to get you and Rastane (and Thalia if she wants to come along) in a solo session sometime this week, that way on Sunday you'll be all caught up to us.

...although you might have to come up with some excuse of why you were missing. Heh. (You can just say you wandered off and got lost in the woods or something, lol.)

As long as you're willing to play delivery boy to us fools in the wilderness, I don't think anyone will mind too much. ;D

My apologies for being absent Sunday 4/9/06
« Result #4 on Apr 9, 2006, 9:05pm »

I'm really sorry about that. Something came up last minute and I ended up a ways out from my house. While there, my ride home left on me while I was in
the bathroom because he forgot I didn't have a car in the morning and he forgot he had to be at work at 6am And I couldn't quite get another ride until later in the afternoon. This is not a normal occurrance and I apologize. My apologies to the group.

Okay... the server is back to normal and my download rate is also going up now. It's hovering around 5.5Mbps.

Well my connection has been regraded. However... apparently BT does a 10 day test on new MaxDSL connections to establish the maximum possible speed and during this test the actual bandwidth revs up and down between practically nothing and about 2Mbit... meanwhile the upload rate has already gone up to 448Kbps (which is often quicker than the download rate, heh). In short, my connection is a bit unstable at the moment.

As far as the router goes... I'm continuing to spam the technical forums for a solution. Opening the correct ports would appear to be straightforward, I think the actual problem may have something to do with how I was advised to set up the router in the first place, but we'll see. If I can't get it running NWNs properly in the next couple of days I will revert back to the old modem. I was advised that the old modem would not do 8Mbit speeds, but looking at all the specs this appears to have been a bit of creative sales talk. Anyway... either way the server should be functional this Sunday and will be set to the max possible speeds for Sunday the 16th.

Sorry about the downtime last week.
